PreK–12 teachers can enhance their instruction with this interdisciplinary certificate. New Jersey was the first state to integrate climate change standards across school content, and this certificate prepares you to integrate these standards into your instruction. You’ll also deepen your knowledge related to environmental sustainability in education. This certificate can stand on its own or be taken as an Environmental Sustainability Education pathway within the Master of Education in Integrative STEM degree.

This four-course, 12-credit graduate certificate is ideal if you’re a practicing preK–12 teacher and want to transform your teaching practice with interdisciplinary perspectives on environmental sustainability education.
