Program at a Glance

This four-course, fully online certificate provides you with the tools and knowledge to effectively promote healthy behavior to target communities. You’ll learn from expert faculty how to research, develop, implement, and evaluate communication plans that help diverse audiences pursue healthier, less risky lives. Classes are held in the evening to accommodate working professionals, and you can apply these 12 credits toward an MPH at TCNJ.

Who Should Pursue This Program?

If your goal is to become proficient in creating communication plans that use a variety of media to skillfully promote healthy behavior and reduce health disparities, this certificate program is designed for you. Graduates will be well prepared to have an impact at organizations ranging from social advocacy groups, community health centers, and nonprofits to hospitals, state health agencies, and health- and wellness-related businesses.
