Program at a Glance

Better address growing population health needs and meet the complex needs of populations and individuals. In this 15-credit, five-course certificate, you’ll learn to assess social and political health determinants, critically analyze data to determine trends, evaluate implications of trends and health care delivery, and gain key skills to tackle population health threats. Once you’re done, apply completed courses meeting minimum grade requirements toward an MPH at TCNJ.

Who Should Pursue This Program?

This program is ideal for working professionals and students preparing for graduate study in public health who want an overview of population health. It’s relevant for school, community, and public health nurses; hospital and clinic managers; pharmaceutical industry professionals; and professionals in the clinical or public health workplace looking to enrich their skills with a population-level health perspective.
