Program-Specific Requirements
National Standardized Admission Test Requirement
Applicants to the Master of Public Health are NOT required to take the GRE. If the applicant decides to take the GRE, they should request that a score report be sent to The College of New Jersey (Code #R2519). Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test information may be obtained from ETS at 800/GRE-CALL. Test scores may not be more than five years old.
The GRE is waived for individuals seeking the post-master’s certificate program.
Accelerated BA/MPH or BS/MPH (for TCNJ Students Only)
An MPH degree can also be completed with an accelerated option. TCNJ undergraduate students working toward a BS or BA degree in a relevant discipline take five graduate courses toward MPH requirements during their Junior and Senior years. Earning an MPH with this option usually takes one additional year beyond the undergraduate degree.
