Application Requirements

The online application and all supplemental documents must be submitted by the appropriate deadline for an application to be considered complete. Incomplete applications cannot be reviewed. It is the responsibility of the applicant to be sure all required items are sent and received. Incomplete applications will be held for one academic year before being purged.

  • Apply online. If internet access is unavailable or extenuating circumstances exist, please contact graduate@tcnj.edu.
  • An official transcript from each college you have attended other than TCNJ is required.
  • Letters of recommendation from two individuals who can evaluate your academic performance, relevant work experience, and/or ability to pursue graduate study.
  • Student essay.
  • Resume/CV (with a bulleted list of activities with participation dates).
  • The application fee is currently $75.  Applications can only be reviewed with payment of this non-refundable fee. This fee is waived for students who formerly enrolled at TCNJ and for specific programs.

Non-Matriculation Application Requirements

Please note that requirements are subject to change depending on federal and state regulations, particularly in programs leading to certification.
