Program at a Glance

This 27-credit, fully accredited program provides standard New Jersey certification in preK–3 (early childhood) and K–6 (elementary) education through a year of immersive study that includes both part-time and full-time clinical experiences. Once you complete the program, you can apply for the New Jersey Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing and take three more graduate courses to earn a TCNJ Master of Education. The program is under review and pending approval from the New Jersey Department of Education.
